I am not a huge fan of sleeping at night and always want to be with Mummy and Daddy - my little bed isn't as warm or comforting as sleeping on or with them. They try and get a few minutes of shut eye when I do!
On my 1-week birthday, I celebrated by going out to a cafe with Mummy and Daddy for a flat white and piece of carrot cake. I slept the whole time in my car seat. When we arrived home there was another bunch of flowers on the doorstep. Our lounge feels like a florists at the moment, which Mummy loves!
We have also been receiving lots of things in the post. This was the first envelope to arrive with all our names on - we'll have to get used to seeing our names together. Thanks to Simon and Anna for the lovely card.
The sun was shining yesterday afternoon, so we decided to try out the Mountain buggy that Mummy and Daddy had spent such a long time picking. I love it and slept all the way to the beach and back, which allowed Mummy and Daddy time to have an ice cream.
I had a visit from Aunty Sarah and Aunty Anna who gave me two very special presents, which they have been working on for months. I had a little snooze with them last night.
Today has been my busiest day so far. I had a trip to the mall this morning and I asked if Daddy would take me to the Apple store. Begrudgingly he agreed.
We then went for coffee…
…and I had another walk to the beach with Daddy while Mummy stayed at home and had an afternoon nap. Dad read the paper whilst I had another sleep.
I have also had a couple of visits from the midwife who thinks I am doing really well. I am starting to put on weight and we found out that I am in the 95th percentile in terms of length and head circumference for my age. I am in the 60th percentile for weight, so I am tall and skinny!
