Rosa - Day 3

Mum and me continue to get better.  Day 3 was a bit testing for me, but I passed my two exams with flying colors.  A lady pricked my heel and stole some of my blood but I was brave and didn't even cry.  Another lady then came and tested my hearing by putting some headphones on me - apparently I got a good score, but the music wasn't very good.  I'd much prefer some of Dad's Foo Fighters.

Mum is doing good - she was a bit up and down cos of something called the 'third day blues', but perked up when the midwives managed to find us our own private room.  Now we have our own space and don't have to share with other people.  Dad says they moved us cos I'm too cute and I need to be tucked away so I don't distract the midwives too much.

Anyway, I don't have the blues, cos Dad went and bought me some pink clothes today.  They rock.  I much prefer them to the whites and now people really know I'm a girl.

Mum is feeding me good and getting more confident.  I also had visits from Aunties Anna, Sarah, Y and Laura, and they brought me loads of nice pink presents.

I had a nice long cuddle with Daddy and fell asleep on him for nearly 2 hours whilst Mum got some more sleep.  He's getting really good at changing my nappies too!
