Flower lays were given to us as we arrived at the airport and we made our way to our beachside accommodation.
Our room had an outdoor bathroom, so you could shower in the trees!
Our days were spent swimming in the pool, snorkelling on the reef and reading lots of books. We both feel completely rested and it was just what we needed!
The coral reef where we were staying was perfect for snorkelling and the waters were crystal clear.
We enjoyed cocktails in the evenings and lots of yummy food in the Samoan restaurants.
We watched as the local people from the village preparerd coconut cream for the evening meal...
...and cooked in the umu oven.
The local transport in Samoa are these colourful buses, packed with people!
The churches in the villages were always the most amazing bulidings and a huge part of the community life.
