Wai-o-tapu and the redwoods

To celebrate the Queen's birthday, New Zealanders get a public holiday! We took advantage of the long weekend and headed down to Rotorua to visit the Wai-o-tapu thermal park and for some mountain biking in the redwood forest. On the drive down, we stopped for lunch at Matamata (aka Hobbiton):
