Lets meet in York!

As Gareth flew in from New Zealand and caught the train north, Hannah drove down from Newcastle and so many of our uni friends made their way from all around the country to meet at a cottage about 30 minutes from York. The place (The Granary - neat Molton) was great and worked out so well for such a big group. We had everything we needed (and more!) there - comfortable rooms, big lounge and kitchen, games room, lawn tennis court (handy when everyone was so enthusiastic with Wimbledon on!).


























We did manage to head out a couple of times - first to the wonderful city of York to walk the walls, picnic in the park and take a boat ride down the river.

























Our second outing was to Castle Howard, where we wandered the grounds and felt like we were in a period drama...apart from the clothing and ice creams available!
