We had a fantastic time catching up with all the family.
We visited Jack's new home and could see all the hard work they have put into this great cottage.
And had a ride in Jill's mini!
Gareth took his Dad out for a "boys night out" in Manchester as a birthday present. The voucher had been posted a month previously!
It wouldn't be a proper trip home without a few essential things.....sighting of the "Theatre of Dreams"...
...a trip to M&S at the Trafford Centre...
...and a proper curry!
Gareth's Nana knitted us some beautiful jumpers and also gave us a crocheted blanket...we had to go out and buy more luggage to get it back to NZ, but it sure is worth it! Thanks Nana.
Rachel and James travelled up from Chester, so we could hear all about their move from NZ back to England. Lovely to see them both, enjoy a proper English pub meal together and hear how things were going.
But, all too soon, it was time to say goodbye and catch our flight back to NZ.
