Friends from England...

We were very sorry to miss Dickon and Becky's wedding at the beginning of October, but extremely pleased that they decided to honeymoon in NZ! Unfortunately, we didn't have long with them - just 2 evenings in fact, but it was wonderful to catch up and hear all about their big day! In fact, we had such a good time catching up that we forgot to take any photos! I think they took a few, so will update when we get their copies...

So, when Rob and Ali (ex colleagues of Gareth's from the NAO) arrived later in the week, we made sure we had the camera out! The weather was great and it felt like summer had arrived! On Saturday, we headed north and escaped the bank holiday traffic in a fantastic little vineyard.




















Sunday morning breakfast in the French market, followed by picking up a few nibbles for a picnic lunch on Rangitoto.



















We remembered to take head torches this time and explored the lava caves on the island.
