November weekends

We've spent the last two weekends doing exciting non-marathon related activties. First, to recover from the marathon (Hannah was obviously recovering too!), we headed north to Rosemary's paradise home to take advantage of the newly installed hot tub. We enjoyed the views, drank champagne and put our feet up.

This weekend, we made the most of the beautiful weather and went to Orewa beach to play in the waves with Ruby.

Because we were accompanied by an under 5, we could play in the playground too!

Sunday took us out to Devonport and the NZ Sculpture on the Shore exhibition. Over 100 sculptures placed in the Fort Takapuna reserve looking out to Rangitoto.
