We've packed lots into the past couple of weekends.
Last weekend we went to Eden Park to watch the All Blacks play Ireland. We managed to survive the torrential rain and freezing conditions, and still had a good time! The thermals and waterproofs were essential! We had expert rugby commentary from Hannah's family friend Rosemary, who accompanied us to the game and stayed for the weekend too. With split loyalties (Kiwi residents, Hannah's Irish descendents), we sat firmly on the fence:

In complete contrast was the fantastic weather we've had this weekend. After a lazy Saturday recovering from a busy week, we decided to do the 16km Coast to Coast Walkway today (Sunday). This track takes you from Manukau Harbour to Auckland Harbour, passing through One Tree Hill, Mt Eden and the Auckland Domain, finishing at the Viaduct.

Starting off at Onehunga Lagoon

One Tree Hill

Rangitoto Island from Mt Eden
