Bush walks and birthday drinks

Although autumn is most certainly here and the rain has started, we had a dry day for our bush walk in the Wenderholm regional park. We headed north of Auckland to Orewa, where we met up with our friends Ron and Sandra who took us to their local tramping area.

Saturday evening took us in to central Auckland and some birthday drinks. Angie turns 25 today, so we celebrated by exploring a few of the local bars.

Work is going well for us both and we are meeting lots of new poeple. The social committee at Gareth's work is reaching the end of their financial year, so it was free drinks and tickets to a comedy show last week and he is heading to Snow Planet on Tuesday evening! Hannah has joined the departmental netball team, is running twice a week and is doing circuits classes. This is obviously balanced with other social events, such as the tavern tour to take place on Friday!!
