Jubilee June

To celebrate the long Jubilee weekend, Mummy and Daddy took me to one of their favourite places in New Zealand - Rotorua. We stopped at Matamata on the way down for a coffee (and obligatory feed and nappy change) at a favourite cafe.

Before long, we were walking around the bubbling mud and thermal lakes in the park. It was fun, but I was so tired after the long journey that I ended up falling asleep.

I thought we were supposed to be on holiday, but Mummy and Daddy still found time to give me 'educational' time with Spot....

The next morning we headed to the redwood forest. I went for a lovely walk with Mummy while Daddy went for a trail run and came back all muddy!

It wouldn't be a proper trip to Rotorua without lunch at the Pig and Whistle.

On the way home, we stopped at the Hamilton gardens for a walk, nappy change and feed.

After my exciting first weekend in June, I have been busy getting on with everyday life....my hair is still growing upwards...

...I am becoming a fan of dungarees....

...I have graduated to a bigger bath (although I am already filling it!) and am enjoying the nighttime routine much more...

...I went to Daddy's work one day and then out for lunch...

...playtime with Ruby and Leah, who even helped bath me one night...

...a walk near Devonport...

...and a Saturday afternoon walk over to Browns Bay with my fancy new hat on...

Alongside sorting and packing, we are trying to make the most of our last few weeks in New Zealand before we start new adventures in the UK....I guess Mummy and Daddy will need to start a new blog too as there will no longer be a 'Bed in NZ'!
