Wonderful Waikawau

With the summer weekends running out, we checked the forecast, packed up the car with our new tent and set off on Friday after work. Waikawau is always the top of our list for a relaxing weekend, so we headed for the Coromandel.

We set up camp by the headlights of our car and were very pleased with our shady spot in daylight. A good nights sleep and swim before breakfast, followed by a day of reading, napping, swimming and walking. Perfect!
