We celebrated the long Waitangi weekend by heading north (even further north than Waitangi itself) to spend a couple of days catching up with Rosemary. We had a fantastic time relaxing and were treated to blueberry pancakes, lots of rose wine and fish that Rosemary had caught herself!

We headed back to Auckland on Saturday evening as Gareth's auntie from Perth (Beverley) was arriving at 5am on Sunday morning and then Hannah had a triathlon at 8am. An early start and it was all over by 9am!!

After a well deserved big breakfast brunch in Mt Eden, we headed up the volcano for views of the city.
