UK Trip Part 5 (Paris)

Well, I guess this doesn't actually count as part of the 'UK' trip, but it was our little holiday within a holiday! We caught the Eurostar over to Paris and were at the Gard du Nord in no time. Our guest house was in the Latin Quarter, so we spent the first afternoon exploring the area. The Jardin du Luxembourg had a photographic exhibition on and we wandered the park where everyone was relaxing. The Seine was close by, as was Notre Dame and the amazing restaurants in the cobbled streets.

Baked French onion soup!

We spent the following day walking along the Seine and stopping off to see the great sights en route!

Smelly French cheeses - yum!

Lunch in the park - we bought some of that smelly cheese!
